After delivering my first daughter, Isabelle, into the world, I was surprised by how much my body had transformed throughout my journey of pregnancy and childbirth. I needed to approach my yoga practice with a depth, gentleness and nourishment like never before. I also yearned for a tribe of like-minded new mothers to share elements of my journey with and form meaningful connections.
I was lucky enough to begin attending ‘Mummy and Me’ yoga classes by my beloved yoga teacher, Lynda Taylor, from Yoni Yoga Birth. These wonderful classes satisfied my cravings for a deep, gentle physical practice and easily facilitated important connections between new mothers.
My amazing experiences through Lynda’s classes led me to create Mums and Bubs Yoga, a gentle, nurturing practice for new mothers and their beautiful little ones.
Mums and Bubs Yoga opens with a sacred circle, allowing women to openly share their experiences and form special connections with each other on and off the mat.
Physically, these classes focus on gently replenishing energy levels, restoring healthy function to the pelvic floor and improving posture and alignment to help cope with the physical demands of motherhood.
Mums and Bubs Yoga encourages you to interact with your baby in your postures, paving the way for bonding, communicating and relaxing with your bundle of joy, both in class and giving you great ideas to use at home. Yoga benefits babies too, helping them to create strength and balance, transition from reflex to voluntary movements and experience developmental ease.
Mums and Bubs classes are suitable for all mothers with babies aged 6 weeks to crawlers. This sacred space fully meets the needs of you and your baby, so your feeding, changing and comforting your baby are fully embraced.

WHAT TO BRING:
– Please remember to B.Y.O comfortable blanket/yoga mat/towel for your baby. Plus maybe a couple of little toys for bubba to play with if you like?
– Please remember you can of course feed, change or comfort your baby at any time throughout the class.
Please note: If you feel like you are having “one of those days” with you baby please don’t stress. It is all part of being a mother. We have all been there and we all understand. So please don’t worry or feel bad. This class is very flexible and is it designed around you and your baby so we will be working with your babies mood.
